Video: Subcutaneous (SC) Injection of Long-acting Injectables into Lateral Aspect of Upper Arm

This video demonstrates how to administer (a long-acting injectable) medication into the lateral aspect of the upper arm subcutaenous.

Once injection site landmarks (as demonstrated) are established, the needle should be inserted at a 90-degree angle into the skin targeting the underlying muscle.
