Is there an easy to use screening tool for anxiety levels that is clinically meaningful?

If your care team is concerned about your level of anxiety, they may ask you to complete a short survey to check your anxiety level. A common survey used is the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7). It is easy to use, and the score will indicate the severity of anxiety symptoms. The GAD-7 has been used in a number of research studies and can assist your care team in monitoring your symptoms over time and in determining whether any intervention or treatment is needed. Depending on the level of anxiety indicated by the results, a more detailed assessment of anxiety may be warranted. You can find the GAD-7 here: https://screening.mentalhealthamerica.net/screening-tools/anxiety?ipiden=581526c43f0e916002a0d6f64c422fd9&ref=https%3A//www.google.com/&show=1. Information based on the test results follows on the website.
