What about asymptomatic increases in liver function tests or transaminases while taking psychotropic medication?

See the AAFP recommendations for evaluation of mild LFT elevations. Causes include metabolic syndrome, alcohol, viral hepatitis and supplements, among others. Medications are an uncommon cause, though a number of specific psychotropic medications have been associated with increased risk for transaminase elevations.
