Is there a screening tool that you endorse as universally best for suicide screening?

SPRC does not endorse any one screening tool over another. Some states and health care settings might have a specific screening tool mandated for use based on grant funding, for example. What is most important is to utilize a tool consistently across departments and for the tool to be evidence-based.
