Many of my patients are using social media, but I am not very familiar with it. How can I learn more about what types of social media exist and what makes each type unique?

Familiarity with aspects of social media may help you better understand the needs of some patients who use social media as a primary channel for communication or even peer support. The guide will help you learn about basic features and uses of each platform. It is also important to consider privacy and discuss risks with patients as well.
