Fact Sheet: Career Development

This resource was selected by SMI Adviser content partners and approved by the SMI Adviser clinical expert team for inclusion in the knowledge base.

frequently during adolescence to young adulthood. But for individuals with psychiatric disabilities, this developmental period often coincides with
the onset of a mental health condition, thus interrupting the process of vocational exploration and development, leading to significant career disadvantages.
