SMI Adviser works with experts at the NASMHPD Research Institute (NRI) to develop strategies to fill system-level gaps in treatment of those with SMI. Experts from NRI serve on the SMI Adviser Advisory Board, curate content for the knowledge base, and develop materials and scan the field to identify needs to inform SMI Adviser’s educational initiatives.
SMI Adviser works with experts at NASMHPD and NRI to field national needs assessment surveys of clinicians in the mental health service delivery system. This guides our approach to create education and resources for those who work with the SMI population.
